Field Application Specialist Genomics (qPCR & Digital PCR)

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to deliver high-level pre- and post-sales technical support
• Act as a trusted scientific expert for customers regarding qPCR and Digital PCR workflows
• Provide timely troubleshooting and technical assistance via field visits, phone, email, or virtual meetings
• Organize and perform product demonstrations and new-user training at customer sites
• Identify and develop opportunities for instrument and workflow implementation in customer laboratories
• Drive increased sales of reagents and consumables within the installed Genomics base
• Report customer feedback on applications and products to internal teams to drive innovation
• Support the sales team with technical training and realistic sales forecasting

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Life Science or a related discipline (BSc considered with extensive experience)
• Strong molecular biology background, specifically with qPCR and NGS
• Minimum 3+ years of experience working in a laboratory environment (qPCR/Digital PCR)
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as an Application Scientist or in an equivalent technical support role
• Native Dutch speaker with fluency in English (both verbal and written)
• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a flexible schedule

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with assay design and Digital PCR
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial or sales experience
• Familiarity with PowerBI
