Field Application Engineer, DRAM

Responsibilities

• Identify customers' current and future product and technology needs and provide solutions
• Provide the product roadmap and manage the product life cycle
• Clarify the customer's technical and product requirements and provide feedback to HQ
• Provide technical specifications and notes according to the customer's needs
• Provide samples for qualifications to drive design wins
• Act as the first technical point of contact for customers and manage new product qualifications
• Manage PCN and ECN and provide customers with all necessary technical documents
• Collaborate with HQ to generate qualification and sample plans
• Work with customers and contract manufacturers to manage the qualification process
• Manage customer product quality and liaison with quality engineers and HQ QA teams
• Manage RMA and Failure Analysis processes
• Build and maintain close customer relationships to enhance satisfaction
• Support customers with all pre-sales and post-sales requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
• 3+ years of experience in field application engineering or semiconductor/memory roles
• Working knowledge of DRAM products, memory architecture, and operation principles
• Experience with system-level integration, debugging, and technical issue resolution
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Authorized to work in the US

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field
• Experience in the semiconductor industry, specifically DRAM or NAND Flash
• Advanced knowledge of DRAM quality management processes
• Strong presentation and documentation skills
• Fluent bilingual communication skills in English and Korean
