Field Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing company products and sales/service requests to provide technical support
• Analyze technological problems in installed application systems and implement technical resolutions
• Collaborate with sales teams, engineers, and product managers regarding application usage and system operations
• Prepare technical elements of proposals and define technical solution guidelines
• Troubleshoot system applications and resolve engineering issues upon customer request
• Conduct training sessions and product demonstrations for customers
• Coordinate with marketing and design teams to formulate product specifications based on customer needs
• Evaluate customer requirements and administer technical and functional aspects of proposals

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience with UPS products (Three/Single Phase UPS, installation, and battery configuration)
• Proven experience in a UPS Field Application Engineer role
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Fluency in English and German is mandatory
• Ability to perform mandatory business travel based on customer requirements
