About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee fiber engineering, fiber construction inspection, and data collection
- Manage project pace, mitigate risks, and ensure all deliverables meet QA/QC standards
- Own project financial health, including P&L reviews, budget adherence, and revenue recognition
- Supervise internal staff, lead status meetings, and provide mentorship
- Act as primary liaison between internal departments, external vendors, and clients
- Assist with complex design assignments and employ advanced analytics to solve field challenges
Requirements
- 5+ years in fiber engineering
- BS in Engineering or advanced degree preferred
- Deep knowledge of Fiber design (site acquisition, permitting, GIS, aerial pole surveys, and cable placement)
- Experience with FTTH and FTTP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Sitetracker
- Strong public speaking, presentation, and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel and perform field work as required
