FF&E Designer

Responsibilities

• Prepare concept designs with Senior FF&E/ Interior Designers and Design Directors
• Assist in preparing spatial planning, schematic design schemes, and furniture layout plans in AutoCAD
• Prepare FF&E tender documentation packages including drawings, schedules, and specifications
• Develop understanding of procurement processes including storage, logistics, and installation
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and specialist sub-consultants to communicate project deliverables
• Visit sites for inspections and assist in answering formal requests for information (RFIs)
• Assist in developing procurement scheduling to ensure timely installation
• Review and approve shop drawings and sample sign-offs

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the Interior Design and/or Architecture industry
• Bachelor's Degree in FF&E Design or Interior Design
• Experience in High-End Residential or Hospitality projects
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
• Understanding of suppliers, materials, fabrics, sanitaryware, lighting, and ironmongery
• Ability to document work to RIBA Stage 4+
• Knowledge of UK building regulations and standards
• AutoCAD skills are an advantage

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Estimac or similar software
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
