FF&E and Material Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead the selection, specification, and coordination of FF&E, including furniture, lighting, fabrics, and accessories.
• Develop detailed FF&E and material schedules in coordination with Lead Designers to ensure alignment with design intent.
• Source high-quality materials, finishes, and surface treatments that meet project aesthetics and functional requirements.
• Manage vendor and supplier relationships, including negotiating pricing, payment terms, and commercial agreements.
• Oversee procurement activities, monitor project budgets, and track delivery timelines to ensure successful project execution.
• Maintain the studio Sample Room and material library, ensuring all samples and catalogs are organized and up to date.
• Curate and style accessories, artwork, and decorative elements to elevate the final design experience.
• Prepare material sample boxes and presentation packages for client reviews and approvals.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of FF&E specifications, interior design principles, and material aesthetics.
• Proven experience in preparing FF&E schedules, material specifications, and project documentation.
• Experience in procurement processes, supplier management, and budget monitoring.
• Ability to analyze quotations, prepare cost comparisons, and manage supply chain coordination.
• Valid UAE Driving License and access to a personal vehicle is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally for supplier meetings, factory visits, and exhibitions.
