High School Diploma or Equivalent, Backstage theater experience preferred, Ability to lift 50+ lbs
About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup (Load In) and breakdown (Load Out) of various performances and events
- Prepare the theater for upcoming events through changeover processes
- Assist with preparing the lighting plot and hanging lights
- Perform various maintenance and show tasks to ensure an operational and safe theater environment
- Support events across multiple venues and spaces throughout the campus
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Ability to work with basic hand and power tools, ladders, and theatrical equipment
- Must be eligible for Federal Work Study
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous backstage theater experience
