Federal Financial Management Transformation Consultant

Responsibilities

• Support federal clients in improving budget and financial management operations through process modernization and data analytics.
• Design and enhance budget and financial management processes across the full budget lifecycle.
• Lead complex financial transformation efforts using best practices in process improvement and change management.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and working sessions to gather requirements and drive alignment.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to generate actionable insights and support client decision-making.
• Develop key deliverables including reports, requirements documentation, SOPs, and dashboards.
• Provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD NACI.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• 1+ years of relevant experience in finance and/or data analytics.
• Working knowledge of federal financial management processes (e.g., spend plan development, execution, closeout).
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting federal health organizations (e.g., CDC).
• Minimum of 2 years leading projects or large workstreams.
• Experience designing or re-engineering business processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic familiarity with AI tools to support efficient delivery.
