Responsibilities

• Write federal briefs for mass tort and class action cases
• Conduct extensive legal research in federal venues
• Support the Complex Litigation practice group on high-profile litigation matters

Requirements

• Exceptional legal research skills using Westlaw
• Ability to provide at least two legal writing samples demonstrating research abilities
• Entry-level candidates must take the state bar before start date
• Experienced candidates must be licensed and in good standing with a state bar
• Prior experience in federal litigation, appellate work, or federal law clerkships preferred for experienced roles

Preferred Qualifications

• Moot court, externship, or fellowship experience for entry-level candidates
• 5+ years of experience for candidates requesting office placement outside the Tampa Bay area
