Feasibility and Cost Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and support feasibility studies for RFQs involving complex 2K and silicone tool concepts
• Collaborate with international engineering teams in Germany, China, and the USA to determine feasibility, costs, and timelines for tools, automation, and part pricing
• Create tool and automation concepts and layouts in coordination with customers and suppliers
• Support the Application Engineering department in customer development projects, focusing on toolmaking and automation
• Continuously optimize internal standards to ensure competitiveness in pricing and scheduling
• Hand over concepts, costs, and schedules to program management and internal teams upon new order nomination

Requirements

• Completed technical vocational training (e.g., electronics, mechanics) or a background in mechanical engineering
• Extensive high-level experience in injection molding toolmaking
• Proven experience within the automotive sector
• Knowledge of APQP and project management methodologies
• Strong understanding of automation processes
• Fluent German (C1 level) and good English (B2 level)
• Ability to work effectively within an international team environment
