About the role
Responsibilities
- Creating and refining high-quality FE meshes using HyperMesh, ISEM, or similar tools
- Performing structural and thermal analyses using ANSYS
- Supporting the validation and improvement of simulation models
- Assessing component performance under demanding operating conditions
- Collaborating with experienced engineers to develop high-fidelity engine models
- Contributing to the design and optimisation of critical gas turbine components
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent military experience
- 3+ years of experience in finite element analysis (FEA)
- Proficiency with HyperMesh, ISEM, or similar meshing tools
- Experience performing structural and thermal analyses using ANSYS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of ANSYS, HyperMesh, and ISEM
- Understanding of structural and thermal analysis principles
- Experience with model preparation, validation, and interpretation of results
- Eagerness to learn and develop expertise in gas turbine simulation
