FEA Meshing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Creating and refining high-quality FE meshes using HyperMesh, ISEM, or similar tools
• Performing structural and thermal analyses using ANSYS
• Supporting the validation and improvement of simulation models
• Assessing component performance under demanding operating conditions
• Collaborating with experienced engineers to develop high-fidelity engine models
• Contributing to the design and optimisation of critical gas turbine components

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent military experience
• 3+ years of experience in finite element analysis (FEA)
• Proficiency with HyperMesh, ISEM, or similar meshing tools
• Experience performing structural and thermal analyses using ANSYS
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ANSYS, HyperMesh, and ISEM
• Understanding of structural and thermal analysis principles
• Experience with model preparation, validation, and interpretation of results
• Eagerness to learn and develop expertise in gas turbine simulation
