FE Materials Global Sourcing Manager, II - Gases

Responsibilities

• Handle the commercial development and qualification of strategic suppliers and participate in quality audits
• Lead cross-category and company-level supplier customer concerns to provide issue resolution
• Serve as the primary knowledge center for assigned suppliers to enable effective planning and forecasting
• Partner with category teams to evaluate and communicate supplier performance
• Provide updates and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
• Identify and execute cost-saving and revenue-enhancing opportunities
• Lead sourcing events, RFQs, contract negotiations, and renewal strategies
• Identify automation opportunities and develop scalable AI solutions for future projects

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement processes
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
• Demonstrated experience in category management and strategic sourcing
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills with a focus on cost-management outcomes
• Advanced understanding of material cost structures and cost analysis methodologies
• Effective communication skills for engaging and influencing diverse collaborators

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing large strategic suppliers or global supply portfolios
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional negotiations and bundled sourcing events
• Familiarity with should-cost modeling and market-intelligence frameworks
• Success in driving savings, revenue impact, or scorecard metric improvements
• Hands-on experience applying AI/ML tools
