FCC & Maintenance Operator/Dispatch

Responsibilities

• Monitor, test, and relay information regarding fire suppression, protection, and stair pressurization systems
• Manage the Building Automated System, Elevator/Escalators Maintenance System, and Electrical Distribution System
• Dispatch work orders for resort requests, emergencies, and repairs via the service request system
• Communicate property maintenance needs and equipment shut-downs to facilities teams and internal departments via radio and phone
• Maintain detailed records, including labor logs, work orders, fire hydrant reports, and emergency evacuation procedures
• Coordinate with the local fire department regarding hot-work and emergency notifications
• Respond to internal requests for emergency shut-offs, water pressure issues, and hazardous conditions

Requirements

• 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent degree
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skills
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and safety standards
• Knowledge of FCC-approved codes and radio procedures
• Ability to work in a 24/7 command center environment, including varying shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency services, dispatch, or customer service
• Previous experience in public safety dispatch
• Valid Massachusetts Driver License
• Fluency in a second language
