About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Set up, maintain, and break down cook stations for efficient service
- Perform food preparation tasks including washing, peeling, cutting, and grinding meats, poultry, and seafood
- Prepare soups, sauces, dressings, and garnishments
- Utilize proper food storage, temperature control, and FIFO (First In, First Out) rotation procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, including equipment and utensils
- Assist with dishwashing and cleaning duties as needed to support the kitchen team
- Follow all sanitation, uniform, and food safety protocols
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of experience in the service industry
- Proficiency in using various kitchen equipment and tools
- Strong knowledge of the FIFO rotation system and food safety standards
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and using scales
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required
- Ability to obtain a gaming license in accordance with regulatory commissions
