About the role
Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a smile and create a positive first impression in the restaurant, bar, or during events
- Coordinate guest seating according to reservations and current demand
- Maintain cleanliness and an appealing setup in the reception and waiting areas
- Inform guests about menu options, special offers, and upcoming events
- Manage reservations, reservation lists, and table plans efficiently
- Support service staff to ensure smooth operations between the kitchen and guests
- Act as a point of contact for guest questions, requests, or complaints
Requirements
- Experience in gastronomy is an advantage but not required
- German language skills
- Hands-on mentality and proactive approach
- Commitment to exceptional guest service and passion for gastronomy
- Ability to find creative solutions and take responsibility
- Reliability and ability to work in a demanding environment
- Openness to digital tools and new systems
- Clear and effective communication skills
