About the role

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and monitor F&B costs including food, beverage, and labor expenses
  • Prepare detailed cost control reports and variance analyses
  • Manage and reconcile inventory records using POS and inventory management software
  • Develop and implement cost control procedures to optimize profitability
  • Conduct regular audits of F&B operations, portion control, and waste management
  • Collaborate with F&B managers and chefs on menu costing and pricing strategies
  • Maintain documentation of financial transactions and invoices for audit compliance
  • Monitor compliance with food safety regulations and organizational policies
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and KPIs for senior management
  • Coordinate with the accounting department for accurate transaction recording
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through data analysis
  • Train F&B staff on cost control and inventory management procedures

Requirements

  • Proven experience in F&B cost control, financial analysis, or hospitality accounting
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and variance analysis
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
  • Experience with POS systems and inventory management software
  • Knowledge of F&B operations, menu costing, and pricing strategies
  • Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems
  • Understanding of food safety standards and health regulations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience with Opera or related systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry
  • Knowledge of restaurant management systems
  • Experience managing multiple properties or locations
