About the role
Responsibilities
- Analyze and monitor F&B costs including food, beverage, and labor expenses
- Prepare detailed cost control reports and variance analyses
- Manage and reconcile inventory records using POS and inventory management software
- Develop and implement cost control procedures to optimize profitability
- Conduct regular audits of F&B operations, portion control, and waste management
- Collaborate with F&B managers and chefs on menu costing and pricing strategies
- Maintain documentation of financial transactions and invoices for audit compliance
- Monitor compliance with food safety regulations and organizational policies
- Prepare monthly financial reports and KPIs for senior management
- Coordinate with the accounting department for accurate transaction recording
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through data analysis
- Train F&B staff on cost control and inventory management procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience in F&B cost control, financial analysis, or hospitality accounting
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
- Experience with POS systems and inventory management software
- Knowledge of F&B operations, menu costing, and pricing strategies
- Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems
- Understanding of food safety standards and health regulations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Fluency in English
- Experience with Opera or related systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry
- Knowledge of restaurant management systems
- Experience managing multiple properties or locations
