F&B Bartender

Responsibilities

• Provide upbeat, positive, and friendly service to all guests in the bar and dining areas
• Prepare and pour drinks using proper portions, ingredients, and measuring devices
• Serve food and beverages while anticipating guest needs and using suggestive selling techniques
• Operate cash registers accurately, managing cash, charge, and hosted sales
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar environment in compliance with health codes
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and respond according to TIPS training guidelines
• Perform side-work including replenishing supplies, cleaning glassware, and emptying trash
• Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of liquors, glassware, and sundries

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of bartending or service industry experience
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
• Ability to obtain a key gaming license in accordance with LTBB Gaming Regulatory Commission regulations
• TIPS training/certification (or ability to complete certification within 30 days of employment)
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and special events
