Fatigue Tracking Engineer

Responsibilities

• Modernize aircraft tracking systems, including aircraft utilization, inspection intervals, and fleet health assessments
• Integrate and document structural and system design requirements in coordination with engineering teams
• Develop, execute, and analyze test plans to validate systems against certification standards
• Support in-service products by investigating failures and performing root cause analysis
• Design, develop, and maintain software applications and database objects using current technologies
• Troubleshoot software issues and develop user training and support materials
• Provide training and mentorship to early career engineers on Aircraft Structural Integrity Program (ASIP) tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, or Material Sciences)
• Experience with computer programming or software development
• Ability to develop technical reports and present results
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)
• US Citizenship is required to obtain a US Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
• Knowledge of Aircraft Structural Integrity Program (ASIP) requirements
• 5+ years of experience performing structural, fatigue, and fracture analysis
• 3+ years of programming experience in languages such as Fortran, Java, SQL, Python, or C++
• Experience with industry-standard structural analysis software
