About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform crop production tasks including planting, weeding, pruning, and harvesting vegetables and herbs
- Use hand tools such as shovels, hoes, and pruning shears for field maintenance
- Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems and drip tubing
- Operate agricultural machinery including tractors, planters, and sprayers
- Execute packing house duties such as weighing, labeling, and loading products
- Maintain strict sanitation and food safety protocols
- Perform general farm maintenance including fence repair and greenhouse upkeep
Requirements
- Minimum of two months of verifiable commercial agricultural employment experience
- Ability to perform strenuous manual labor in extreme weather conditions (10°F to 105°F)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds
- Capability to stand, bend, kneel, and squat for extended periods
- Ability to follow strict safety and pesticide application instructions
