Farmworker Diversified

Responsibilities

• Plant, transplant, thin, and weed crops by hand or using tools
• Harvest leafy greens, vegetables, or culinary herbs by hand or machine
• Sort, grade, and pack produce in the field or packing areas
• Move pipe into furrows for irrigation
• Take crop samples according to quality and food safety standards
• Use hand tools such as knives, clippers, hoes, and shovels safely
• Operate basic farm equipment including carts and harvest aids
• Perform general farm maintenance including irrigation setup and debris removal
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene requirements

Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to work in the fields for long periods of time
• Ability to perform manual and mechanized agricultural tasks
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
• Commitment to food safety and workplace safety standards
