About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain crop health through planting, transplanting, and vine management
- Harvest, weigh, and pack produce according to grading standards
- Monitor crops for insect damage, disease, and food safety issues
- Operate farm equipment safely and maintain a clean workspace
- Comply with SOPs, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and food safety protocols
- Communicate quality issues or damage to the Team Lead
Requirements
- Experience in a light industrial environment
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Comfort working with heights and using ladders
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (heat, UV, or cold packing rooms)
- Reliable transportation to the job site
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous farming or greenhouse experience
