4 years social services experience or Bachelor's in Social Work, Experience with youth and senior programming, Proficient in MS Office, Valid Driver's License, CPR & First Aid certified

About the role

Responsibilities

  • Implement core programs across Economic Stability, Education, Health & Wellness, and Community Building
  • Conduct outreach and survey resident needs through community engagement
  • Coordinate after-school and teen programs including homework assistance
  • Oversee senior programs such as social activities, arts and crafts, and exercise
  • Facilitate resident-facing workshops and group sessions
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with local service providers
  • Provide residents with information and referrals to community resources
  • Support food distribution needs and manage food bank partnerships
  • Recruit, train, and oversee volunteers and interns
  • Collect and submit program outcome data to measure social impact

Requirements

  • Four years of experience in multi-family housing, social services, or community outreach, OR a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Human Services
  • Experience with after-school programs or educational settings
  • Experience managing activities for senior citizens
  • Experience serving diverse populations with cultural competency
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Publisher, Outlook)
  • Valid Driver’s License, clean driving record, and current automobile insurance
  • CPR & First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
