Family Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Conduct physicals, medical evaluations, diagnostics, and treat illnesses within an integrated setting
• Provide general and preventative care, including ordering lab tests and prescribing/monitoring medications
• Educate patients regarding preventative care, wellness activities, and prescribed treatments
• Establish therapeutic relationships with a diverse patient population to reach treatment goals
• Coordinate with other providers and make appropriate referrals for specialty and behavioral health care
• Provide leadership and cohesion within the clinic environment, potentially supervising medical staff or students
• Maintain professional records and patient files in accordance with agency guidelines and state regulations

Requirements

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner)
• Valid Arizona Nurse Practitioner License
• ANCC Board Certification
• Valid DEA license and BLS certification
• Valid Arizona driver's license (must be 21+ with minimum 4 years driving experience)
• Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (Level 1)
• Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner
• Experience using NextGen EHR
