Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based primary and family care, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions
• Perform diagnostic testing, provide preventive counseling, and treat injuries and illnesses
• Manage patient appointments and perform routine examinations to support strong health outcomes
• Complete administrative duties including inventory management, insurance verification, and patient follow-up
• Promote patient engagement through wellness services, screenings, and chronic disease management
• Order and administer vaccines and injections (e.g., COVID-19, influenza, TB testing)

Requirements

• Master’s Degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program
• Active Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license in good standing
• Current National Board Certification (AANP or ANCC)
• Active state APRN license
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (CPR/AED)
• Ability to complete DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment
• Ability to pass a respirator FIT test

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of NP experience
• Experience with EPIC EHR
