Family Medicine Residency Core Faculty Member

Responsibilities

• Provide family medicine faculty practice including both outpatient and inpatient care
• Supervise residents in the Stanford Medical Partners Family Medicine Residency Clinic
• Supervise residents on the inpatient family medicine teaching service at Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley Hospital
• Lead curriculum development, resident evaluation, and scholarly activities
• Dedicate 40% FTE to direct patient care and 60% FTE to residency program-related activities
• Assist the Program Director in growing a new community-based academic residency program

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified in Family Medicine
• Ability to obtain a Medical License in the State of California
• Excellence in clinical skills and teaching
• Strong commitment to medical education and mentoring future physicians
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior teaching experience in an ACGME-accredited residency program
• Experience in GME leadership roles (e.g., Clinical Competency Committee or Program Evaluation Committee)
• Demonstrated experience in curriculum development or resident mentorship
