Family Law Paralegal

Responsibilities

• Independently draft substantive family law motions, pleadings, and correspondence
• Manage complex attorney calendars and court scheduling across jurisdictions
• Engage with clients to gather information and provide timely updates
• Organize case files and prepare documents for hearings and trials
• Prepare and review Case Information Statements (CIS)
• Assist with child support guideline calculations
• Conduct legal research to support case strategy
• Triage and organize incoming communications and emails

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a family law paralegal
• Proven experience drafting complex legal documents, motions, and pleadings
• Proficiency with PracticePanther, Easy Soft, LexisNexis, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational skills for managing schedules and deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
