Family Law Paralegal

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and assist in case analysis
• Prepare, draft, review, and file legal documents including pleadings and discovery requests
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation and organizing case materials
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff
• Manage physical and electronic case files and documents
• Support attorneys in depositions, mediations, and hearings

Requirements

• Paralegal certificate from an accredited institution
• 2 to 5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in family law
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research software
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
