Family Assistant & Nanny

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate childcare and supervision
• Plan engaging Montessori-inspired activities, crafts, sensory play, and outings
• Create calm, engaging daily rhythms and routines for the children
• Organize and maintain children’s spaces, toys, and learning materials
• Perform laundry and linen care, including delicate garment care
• Prepare healthy snacks, meals, and batch prep organic ingredients
• Maintain household organization, including tidying high-traffic areas and managing supply inventory
• Support travel needs by traveling with the family and assisting with packing/unpacking
• Assist with household management tasks such as meal prep, laundry, and general organization

Requirements

• Experience in early childhood education and/or Montessori-inspired childcare
• Ability to maintain a smoke-free environment
• Reliable transportation
• Willingness to sign an NDA
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and travel
• Background check required

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish or French
• Experience with Waldorf or holistic child development philosophies
• Knowledge of organic food and holistic wellness practices
