About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and technical leadership in strengthening faith-integrated programming across Wahana Visi Indonesia.
- Lead the development and refinement of Faith & Development frameworks, standards, tools, and implementation guidance.
- Ensure the integration of faith perspectives across sectoral, humanitarian, and advocacy programming.
- Conduct technical reviews of programme designs, reports, assessments, and proposals to ensure quality and safeguarding compliance.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with churches, Christian institutions, and faith-based organizations (FBOs).
- Facilitate capacity strengthening through coaching, mentoring, and the development of training materials for staff and partners.
- Support monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEAL) by developing indicators and analyzing programme trends.
- Manage risks related to Faith and Development programming in accordance with organizational policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Theology, Community Development, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Faith & Development, community development, or technical advisory roles.
- Proven experience in programme quality assurance, capacity strengthening, and technical accompaniment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Spiritual Nurture for Children, Faith Integration, and Faith Literacy approaches.
- Proficiency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken).
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically to remote, rural, or disaster-affected areas.
- Strong commitment to the mission, vision, and Christian values of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional training in Child Protection, Humanitarian Standards, or Partnership Development.
- Experience in proposal development, resource mobilization, or advocacy engagement.
- Experience in programme monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEAL) and evidence generation.
- Knowledge of interfaith engagement and social cohesion strategies.
