Faculty - Villa Maria School of Nursing

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction to students in both undergraduate and graduate nursing programs
• Provide clinical education and supervision as assigned
• Advise students and support student-centered learning outcomes
• Engage in scholarly activities in accordance with the Boyer Model of Scholarship
• Participate in professional, University, and community service activities
• Support and promote the University’s inclusive Mission and Catholic identity

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Master's degree in nursing
• Current Pennsylvania nursing licensure or eligibility to obtain it
• Ability to meet the physical demands of a busy academic and clinical environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in nursing or a closely related field
• Enrollment in a doctoral program
• Recent clinical and teaching experience within a higher education program
