Faculty Teaching Track - Villa Maria School of Nursing and Coordinator Patient Simulation Center

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction to both undergraduate and graduate nursing programs, including clinical education.
• Coordinate the Patient Simulation Center, managing 14 high-fidelity simulators, IV training stations, and simulated clinical environments.
• Support scheduling, education, and simulation facilitation activities for academic programs across the Morosky College of Health Professions and Sciences.
• Advise students and engage in professional, University, and community service activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student-centered learning and learning outcomes.
• Promote the University’s inclusive Mission, Catholic identity, and professional education traditions.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Master's degree in nursing.
• Current Pennsylvania nursing licensure or eligibility to obtain it.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of a busy academic and clinical environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in nursing or a closely related field (candidates currently enrolled in doctoral programs are encouraged to apply).
• Recent clinical and teaching experience within a higher education program.
• Proven experience with simulation instruction and conducting simulations in an educational setting.
