About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and technological support to faculty, including preparing class materials, presentations, and exams
- Manage course content platforms such as Canvas and ensure all materials meet accessibility standards
- Prepare, update, and proofread syllabi and other academic documents
- Coordinate event planning, travel accommodations for guests, and process expense reports
- Support PhD recruiting administrative tasks and faculty onboarding/offboarding processes
- Perform specialized tasks such as formatting citations, proofreading manuscripts, and maintaining faculty business supplies
Requirements
- High school diploma and 2 years of prior administrative support experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 2 years of experience in a customer service role
- Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft and Google products
