About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop a high-impact applied research program in Supply Chain and Logistics Systems.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing firms, logistics providers, and retailers to address real-world challenges.
  • Lead research in areas such as end-to-end analytics, network design, resilience, and sustainable supply chains.
  • Mentor graduate students working on applied supply chain projects.
  • Establish long-term partnerships with industry and government organizations.
  • Participate in corporate membership programs, workshops, and executive education initiatives.
  • Publish research that prioritizes operational impact and technology adoption.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Transportation, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience working on supply chain or logistics systems with practical applications.
  • Proven track record of collaborating with industry partners or government organizations.
  • Ability to secure research funding and develop strategic industry partnerships.
  • Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level) for written and oral communication.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Spanish.
  • Experience in technology-based entrepreneurship.
