Faculty Position - Doctor of Physical Therapy Program

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional education through interactive teaching and learning styles in a student-centered environment
• Work collaboratively and inter-professionally to advise students and support learning outcomes
• Participate in scholarly engagement and research activities
• Engage in University, professional, and community service
• Support and promote the University’s inclusive mission and Catholic identity

Requirements

• Post-professional doctoral degree (PhD, EdD, DHS, DSc, etc. or ABD) and/or a DPT degree
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical teaching experience (as a clinical instructor and/or site coordinator of clinical education)
• Eligibility for Florida state licensure as a physical therapist
• Ability to support the University's mission and liberal arts foundation

Preferred Qualifications

• ABPTS specialty certification
• Expertise in musculoskeletal physical therapy
• Expertise in exercise physiology
• Prior teaching experience in an entry-level PT program
• Research experience
