Faculty Member in Physiology

Responsibilities

• Deliver Physiology lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions covering cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, neurophysiology, endocrine, and gastrointestinal systems
• Facilitate practical sessions and demonstrations using modern teaching tools and integrated approaches (CBL/PBL)
• Utilize Blackboard LMS and digital teaching platforms for academic delivery
• Prepare and administer student assessments and maintain accurate academic records
• Provide academic advising and mentoring to support student development
• Conduct and publish research in physiology or related medical fields
• Ensure compliance with academic policies and accreditation standards (e.g., NCAAA)
• Collaborate with basic and clinical faculty for integrated curriculum delivery

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Physiology or a related medical field
• MBBS with specialization in Physiology (Mandatory)
• Proven teaching experience in a medical or health sciences program
• Familiarity with integrated curricula and modern teaching methodologies
• Proficiency with Blackboard LMS and digital teaching tools
• Strong subject expertise and ability to link theory to clinical relevance
