Faculty Member in Physics

Responsibilities

• Deliver Physics lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions for preparatory year students
• Teach core topics including mechanics, energy, waves, electricity, and basic optics
• Simplify complex concepts using student-centered teaching approaches to enhance engagement
• Utilize Blackboard LMS and digital tools for effective academic delivery
• Prepare and administer assessments and maintain accurate academic records
• Provide academic guidance and targeted support to students to develop analytical thinking
• Ensure compliance with academic policies, quality standards, and accreditation requirements
• Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with faculty on curriculum delivery

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Physics or a related field
• Proven experience teaching Physics, preferably within preparatory or foundation programs
• Proficiency with Blackboard LMS and other digital teaching tools
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong organizational and time management skills
