Faculty Member in Pharmacology

Responsibilities

• Deliver Pharmacology lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions covering general, systemic, and clinical pharmacology
• Integrate pharmacology teaching with clinical case-based learning (CBL/PBL)
• Utilize LMS (Blackboard) and digital teaching tools for academic delivery
• Prepare and administer student assessments and maintain accurate academic records
• Provide academic advising and mentoring to support student development
• Conduct and publish research in pharmacology or related biomedical fields
• Contribute to curriculum development and ensure compliance with accreditation standards

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Pharmacology or a related biomedical field
• MBBS with a specialization in Pharmacology is preferred
• Proven experience teaching Pharmacology in a medical or health sciences program
• Strong understanding of the clinical applications of pharmacology
• Familiarity with integrated curricula and modern teaching approaches
• Proficiency with LMS platforms, specifically Blackboard
