Faculty Member in Pharmacology

Responsibilities

• Deliver Pharmacology lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions covering pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and systemic pharmacology
• Integrate teaching with clinical case-based learning (CBL/PBL) and utilize Blackboard LMS for digital instruction
• Prepare and administer student assessments using tools such as ExamSoft
• Provide academic advising, mentorship, and structured feedback to support student success
• Conduct and publish research in pharmacology or related biomedical fields
• Contribute to curriculum development and ensure compliance with accreditation standards like NCAAA
• Participate in academic committees and collaborate with clinical faculty for integrated teaching

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Pharmacology or a related biomedical field
• Experience teaching Pharmacology within a medical or health sciences program
• Strong understanding of clinical pharmacology applications
• Proficiency with Blackboard LMS and modern educational technologies
• Excellent communication and teaching skills with a student-centered mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• MBBS with a specialization in Pharmacology
