About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver Pharmacology lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions covering pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and systemic pharmacology
- Integrate teaching with clinical case-based learning (CBL/PBL) and utilize Blackboard LMS for digital instruction
- Prepare and administer student assessments using tools such as ExamSoft
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and structured feedback to support student success
- Conduct and publish research in pharmacology or related biomedical fields
- Contribute to curriculum development and ensure compliance with accreditation standards like NCAAA
- Participate in academic committees and collaborate with clinical faculty for integrated teaching
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Pharmacology or a related biomedical field
- Experience teaching Pharmacology within a medical or health sciences program
- Strong understanding of clinical pharmacology applications
- Proficiency with Blackboard LMS and modern educational technologies
- Excellent communication and teaching skills with a student-centered mindset
