Faculty Member in Occupational Therapy Program

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions, and clinical training within the Occupational Therapy Program
• Supervise students during clinical placements and practical training activities
• Facilitate case-based learning, simulation activities, and hands-on clinical skills sessions
• Utilize Blackboard LMS and digital teaching tools to manage course content and assessments
• Provide academic advising, mentorship, and constructive feedback to support student development
• Participate in research, academic conferences, and continuous curriculum improvement
• Ensure compliance with academic policies and accreditation standards (e.g., NCAAA)
• Contribute to community outreach and healthcare initiatives aligned with the college mission

Requirements

• PhD in Occupational Therapy or a related field
• Valid professional license or registration
• Proven clinical experience in occupational therapy practice
• Experience with Blackboard LMS and digital learning platforms
• Strong academic and clinical expertise in occupational therapy

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous teaching experience in higher education
• Familiarity with simulation-based teaching methodologies and educational technologies
