About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver Obstetrics & Gynecology lectures, clinical teaching sessions, and tutorials
- Facilitate bedside teaching, case-based discussions, and clinical skills training
- Cover core areas including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care, as well as gynecological and reproductive health
- Support OSCE preparation and clinical competency assessments using integrated teaching approaches (CBL/PBL)
- Utilize Blackboard LMS and digital teaching tools to manage academic records and assessments
- Provide academic advising and clinical mentoring to medical students
- Conduct and publish research in Obstetrics & Gynecology or related fields
- Ensure compliance with academic policies and accreditation standards (e.g., NCAAA)
- Participate in academic committees and departmental meetings
Requirements
- MBBS with specialization in Obstetrics & Gynecology (Board certified or equivalent)
- Clinical experience in hospital settings
- Experience teaching in a medical college or clinical training environment
- Familiarity with integrated curriculum and modern teaching approaches
- Proficiency with LMS (Blackboard) and digital teaching tools
- Strong clinical and academic expertise in the field
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in a relevant field
