Faculty Member in Medical Surgical Nursing

Responsibilities

• Deliver Adult Medical Surgical Nursing lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions, and clinical training
• Supervise students during clinical rotations in hospital and healthcare settings
• Facilitate simulation activities, case-based learning, and clinical skills training
• Utilize Blackboard LMS and digital teaching tools to manage assessments and course content
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to nursing students to support their professional development
• Participate in research, academic conferences, and continuous curriculum improvement
• Ensure compliance with academic policies and accreditation standards such as NCAAA

Requirements

• PhD in Nursing with a specialization in Adult Medical Surgical Nursing
• Valid professional nursing license or registration
• Proven clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing
• Experience with Blackboard LMS and digital learning platforms
• Strong clinical and academic expertise in medical-surgical nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in nursing education and teaching
• Familiarity with simulation-based teaching methodologies
• Experience with modern educational technologies and digital learning environments
