Faculty Member in Mathematics

Responsibilities

• Deliver Mathematics lectures, tutorials, and problem-solving sessions for preparatory year students
• Teach core topics including algebra, basic calculus, functions, and introductory statistics
• Simplify complex mathematical concepts for students with diverse academic backgrounds
• Utilize Blackboard LMS and digital tools to enhance the learning experience
• Prepare and administer assessments and maintain accurate academic records
• Provide academic guidance and targeted support to students to improve quantitative skills
• Ensure compliance with academic policies, quality standards, and accreditation requirements
• Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate on curriculum development

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field
• Proven experience teaching Mathematics, preferably in preparatory or foundation programs
• Familiarity with Blackboard LMS and other digital teaching tools
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly
• Student-focused mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
