Faculty Member in Health Management

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, and workshops in subjects such as Healthcare Management, Systems & Policies, and Quality Management.
• Apply student-centered and outcome-based teaching approaches using Blackboard LMS and digital tools.
• Prepare and administer assessments, assignments, and examinations while maintaining accurate academic records.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to support student development and leadership skills.
• Participate in research, scholarly activities, and curriculum development to drive program improvement.
• Ensure compliance with academic policies and accreditation standards, such as NCAAA.
• Engage in healthcare awareness initiatives and institutional community outreach.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Health Management, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
• 4-5 years of professional work experience.
• Strong understanding of healthcare systems, leadership, and quality improvement principles.
• Familiarity with Blackboard LMS and educational technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in healthcare management or hospital administration.
• Prior experience in academic teaching or higher education environments.
