Faculty Member in English

Responsibilities

• Deliver English language courses focusing on reading, writing, listening, and speaking for preparatory year students
• Strengthen students’ academic writing, grammar, and communication skills
• Support the development of medical and academic terminology
• Apply student-centered teaching methods to enhance engagement
• Utilize Blackboard LMS and digital tools effectively for academic delivery
• Prepare and administer assessments and maintain accurate academic records
• Provide academic guidance and targeted support to students with varying proficiency levels
• Ensure alignment with academic policies, quality standards, and accreditation requirements
• Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with faculty on curriculum delivery

Requirements

• Master’s degree in English, Applied Linguistics, TESOL, or a related field
• 4-5 years of teaching experience
• Proven experience teaching in preparatory or foundation programs
• Proficiency with Blackboard LMS and digital teaching tools
• Strong background in academic English and language instruction
