Faculty Member in Critical Care Nursing

Responsibilities

• Deliver Critical Care Nursing lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions, and clinical training
• Supervise students during clinical rotations in intensive care and acute care settings
• Facilitate simulation activities, emergency response scenarios, and clinical skills training
• Teach evidence-based nursing care for critically ill patients and emergency situations
• Utilize Blackboard LMS and digital teaching tools for course management and assessments
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to nursing students to support clinical judgment
• Participate in research, academic conferences, and curriculum development
• Ensure compliance with academic policies and accreditation standards such as NCAAA

Requirements

• PhD in Nursing with a specialization in Critical Care Nursing
• Valid professional nursing license or registration
• Clinical experience in ICU, emergency, or critical care settings
• Experience with Blackboard LMS and digital learning platforms
• Familiarity with simulation-based teaching and modern educational technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in nursing education and academic teaching
• Strong clinical and academic expertise in critical care nursing
• Proven ability to perform effectively in high-pressure clinical environments
