Faculty Member in Computer Science

Responsibilities

• Deliver Computer Science lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for preparatory year students
• Teach foundational topics including basic programming (Python or Java), computer fundamentals, and digital literacy
• Apply student-centered teaching approaches to enhance engagement for pre-medical students
• Utilize Blackboard LMS and digital tools effectively for academic delivery
• Prepare and administer assessments and maintain accurate records of attendance and grades
• Provide academic guidance and support to students with varying technical backgrounds
• Contribute to course development, academic quality, and accreditation compliance

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven teaching experience in Computer Science, preferably at the foundation or preparatory level
• Strong programming proficiency in Python, Java, or similar languages
• Familiarity with Blackboard LMS and digital teaching tools
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical students
