Faculty Member in Community Nursing

Responsibilities

• Deliver Community Nursing lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions, and clinical training
• Supervise students during community and public health clinical rotations
• Facilitate case-based learning, health promotion activities, and community assessment projects
• Utilize Blackboard LMS and digital teaching tools to manage assessments and academic records
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to nursing students
• Participate in research, academic conferences, and curriculum development
• Ensure compliance with academic policies and accreditation standards such as NCAAA
• Engage in healthcare awareness campaigns and community outreach initiatives

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Nursing with a specialization in Community or Public Health Nursing
• Valid professional nursing license or registration
• Proven clinical experience in community or public health nursing
• Experience with Blackboard LMS and digital learning platforms
• Strong clinical and academic expertise in community nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in nursing education or teaching
• Familiarity with simulation-based teaching and educational technologies
• Demonstrated ability to integrate theory with clinical and public health practice
