Faculty Member in Biology

Responsibilities

• Deliver Biology lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for preparatory year students
• Simplify complex biological concepts to build strong foundational understanding for pre-medical students
• Utilize Blackboard LMS and digital tools effectively for teaching and course management
• Prepare and administer assessments using ExamSoft or similar platforms
• Provide academic guidance and support to students transitioning into medical education
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and academic reports
• Adhere to academic policies, quality standards, and accreditation requirements
• Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with faculty on curriculum delivery

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Biology or a related field
• Experience teaching Biology, preferably in preparatory year or foundation programs
• Proficiency with Blackboard LMS and digital teaching tools
• Strong ability to explain scientific concepts clearly to beginner-level students
• Excellent scientific communication and presentation skills
• Strong organization and time management abilities
