The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine is a physician-led academic group with over 50 faculty members and a fully sub-specialized practice model. The department supports robust residency and fellowship programs and offers access to a comprehensive translational research core with advanced molecular and next-generation sequencing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a dedicated GU pathology team, including supervision and mentorship of multiple pathologists
• Perform subspecialty sign-out in GU pathology within a high-volume academic center
• Shape departmental strategy, policies, and quality initiatives
• Participate in teaching, research, and multidisciplinary collaboration

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board certification in Anatomic and/or Clinical Pathology
• Fellowship training in Genitourinary Pathology
• Minimum of 8 years of pathology experience with demonstrated leadership responsibilities
• Eligibility for medical licensure in the applicable state
• Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
