About the Company
The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine is a physician-led academic group with over 50 faculty members and a fully sub-specialized practice model. The department supports robust residency and fellowship programs and offers access to a comprehensive translational research core with advanced molecular and next-generation sequencing capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead a dedicated GU pathology team, including supervision and mentorship of multiple pathologists
- Perform subspecialty sign-out in GU pathology within a high-volume academic center
- Shape departmental strategy, policies, and quality initiatives
- Participate in teaching, research, and multidisciplinary collaboration
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board certification in Anatomic and/or Clinical Pathology
- Fellowship training in Genitourinary Pathology
- Minimum of 8 years of pathology experience with demonstrated leadership responsibilities
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the applicable state
- Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
