The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine is a physician-led academic group with over 50 faculty members and a fully subspecialized practice model. The department supports robust residency and fellowship programs and provides access to a comprehensive translational research core with advanced molecular diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Perform subspecialty-focused GI pathology sign-out in a high-volume academic center
• Manage complex cases including liver, pancreas, and transplant pathology
• Teach residents and fellows within established training programs
• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and tumor boards
• Engage in academic growth, research, and clinical excellence

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board certification in Anatomic and/or Clinical Pathology
• Fellowship training in Gastrointestinal Pathology
• Eligibility for medical licensure in the applicable state
• Strong diagnostic skills and interest in academic pathology
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
