The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine is a physician-led academic group with over 50 faculty members and a fully subspecialized practice model. The department supports robust residency and fellowship programs and provides access to a comprehensive translational research core with advanced molecular diagnostics.
Responsibilities
- Perform subspecialty-focused GI pathology sign-out in a high-volume academic center
- Manage complex cases including liver, pancreas, and transplant pathology
- Teach residents and fellows within established training programs
- Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and tumor boards
- Engage in academic growth, research, and clinical excellence
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board certification in Anatomic and/or Clinical Pathology
- Fellowship training in Gastrointestinal Pathology
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the applicable state
- Strong diagnostic skills and interest in academic pathology
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
